home-made burgers?

made some burgers yesterday,had onion,garlic,salt and pepper and beaten egg in them but still tasted a bit bland what spice could i put in them to make them tastier?
gonna add Worcester sauce next time as well!

I usually add fresh basil, oregano and chilli to mine. Herbs usually lift a bland dish. Worcester sauce would help too :)

I usually put chillis in my burgers, including the seeds.

But I'm usually the only one who will eat them.

Same here milly...I mean what use is a chilli without the seeds?? Tsk!

i put cheese in the middle and form the burger round it (also add mustard and tom puree to the mix)

A few squirts of tomato ketchup....try it, very nice

I know the Jamie Oliver recipe has a teaspoon of cumin powder in the mixture. I've tried it a few times and it works well.

I like a mixture of cumin and coriander powders in the mix.
I also roll the finished burger in a mix of these spices, with added potato flour.

Potato flour is magic! It makes the burgers easy to handle, and gives a lovely rich brown crust on the finished product. Good for thickening sauces, although too much is not good!

Herbs are great, but you need at least twice as much as appears rational.
