Can anyone suggest any nice restaurants and/or lively pubs in York???

If your feeling flush then The Blue Bicycle is super. If your on a Budget then try Cafe Uno. Most pubs are very 'lively' at the weekend. Just head for the centre and you can't go wrong, even mid-week.

the Loch fyne restaurant if you like fresh seafood. if not the Blue bicvcle.Situatedopposite each other on ????gate.

The Blue Bicycle is overpriced and the service has been poor on the four occasions we've eaten there. J Baker's Bistro Moderne on Fossgate is no more expensive and the food is in a different league.
