Suggest try 'Caravela' at 39 Beauchamp Place, SW3 1NX
Darn good small Portugese restuarant - fado music, guitar playing, audience participation - door gets closed and you stay all night..... Food simple and unpretentious, good efficient service and honest grub...really nice to have something simple and tasty rather than loud and money grabbing.... This is a good restuarant, not one of the fashionable here today gone tomorrow types. Been open for years...which is a good sign of a decent place to eat. |
