Thursday. Haven't got much to do today. Wonderful! :o}

Can't see the stars, so I think I can safely assume it's overcast. Cooler too this morning.
I had an early night so didn't see Tiggy, but his supper has gone, so he was about.

I didn't get my breakfast at the hospital yesterday, I got there just before 7. Now last time we had an early appointment the hospital restaurant opened at 7. So I happily strolled to it only to discover it now opens at 9! Miffed isn't the word, but it will do!

The new hearing aids are wonderful. The same size as the 'old' ones, but with much more technology packed in. I can now hear frequencies I haven't been able to hear since 1963! I'm a happy bunny. The thing is that an electronics degree is required to make 'em work!

Have a happy day everyone.

Morning minty xxx Everyone OK this morning? :o}
Morning waterboatman. I am awake - but not by choice!
so far so good boaty ....spent yesterday in town with mum doing a wee bit shopping..it was heaving, no such thing as tourist seson here now, it is all year round, there is a christmas fair up in Princes St already,it really cheapens the look of the place, I don't think these things should be allowed in heritage environments at all...
morning Lard xx you at work or something?
Question Author
Morning lardy xxx Welcome to the GMEB thread. Are you at work, or just unable to sleep?

minty I agree with that. I'm on the side of the Grinch! :o}
Morning murraymint. Not at work yet. The ankle that I broke in the summer is giving me gyp (jip?) this morning. In fact, it woke me up.
Question Author
Ouch! I would recommend getting it looked at again. It shouldn't be doing that now.

Morning jan xxx I was beginning to think everyone had gone to a party and not told me! ;o}
Morning janbee.
Question Author
Yes I can see that lardy. But a bit soon for arthritis to kick in, unless it's a pre-existing condition.
morning jan xx don't come home for xmas... it will sadden you to see what they have done to the place with fairground rides and tacky deccies in the gardens..throw in the trams and numerous Eastern European buskers .....yeuch...the quiet dignified splendour has been ruined !
Thanks boaty. It grew in the garden last summer. It was beautiful.
I thought it was a stargazer lily ?
