Eating out in Torquay

Recently stayed in Torquay for a few days, needed to eat out for a couple of nights. Could not find anywhere decent to eat. Landed up in Pizza Express!!! Any suggestions for my next visit. This did not put me off Torquay, lovely place and good situation for getting to other places too.

Shame you had a bad one, what sort of place you looking for? Cafe? Restaurant? Take-Away?

I know there are some great places to eat in Paignton just down the coast...

Nothing too flashy, home cooked food, good atmosphere. Nice freehouse, or similar

i would reccomend the Bull and Bush pub on Belgrave road, really good steak, reasonably priced, nice atmosphere.
