Le Relais de Venise L'Entrecote

Going for lunch today for the third time at the Manchester restaurant.

The Paris original has been going for over 40 years, serving the same starter and main - no choice! This in a city famous for demanding diners!

"Menu and prices
Start with a green salad with mustard vinaigrette topped with walnuts, followed by steak frites, £21

They have a lovely French attitude - here's the vegetarian "choice"

Vegetarian option
We welcome vegetarians.
Start with a green salad with mustard vinaigrette topped with walnuts, followed by a selection of cheeses and accompanied by frites plus a dessert of your choice, £21"

So, no dessert (or pudding) if you're a carnivore ? Not fair.
Do they welcome feedback? A banana split would be nice.

Hi Alba - with typical French helpfulness, they don't say that there is a good dessert menu, but it's extra for carnivores. The tarte au citron is excellent!
Feeback in a restaurant.........Doesn't paint a pretty picture!

I seem to like restaurants with attitude - I've just recommended the Drum & Monkey in Harrogate, where there's only fish on the menu.
Typo, feedback.
oooh, it sounds yummy. I'll bring my purse and join you if you don't mind.
I'll need to investigate to find out if we have a decent French restaurant in my neck of the woods. Enjoy :-)

It must be good if you're going for the third time.
So is the Chocolat Mousse.......

It is truly sublime, we've been to the one in Toulouse. The sauce they serve with the steak is mind blowing and the goose fat fried Frites are a treat on their own, great place to eat, highly recommend it.
