We are having a disco/karaoke for our daughter's upcoming birthday but my husband and I are at a bit of a loss as to what to hand out in terms of loot bags for the kids. Obviously they are too old for blow bubbles and little toy party favours and I can put in little things like lip gloss and other girly things for the girls but I am totally stumped as to what to include for the boys. Also, we are serving non-alcoholic cocktails to let them feel a bit more grown-up but I wondered if anyone had any good suggestions on what games, if any, would be appropriate for an eleven year old's party. Can anyone help please?

You could put match attax cards (football trading cards) in the boys loot bags...most boys are mad about them nowadays, its the latest craze! Will try and think of some other things for you! x
musical chairs and pass thr parcel are always great party games.
Have you thought of a bouncing castle.

For the boys toy cars or football teamed trinkets like cards of players keyrings stickers

Oh that's a great idea, thanks. I've been so busy trying to organise her party that my brain has just gone into meltdown and I can't think properly lol! Any ideas for party games? If you think of any more loot ideas or any games, it'll be much appreciated. Thanks Lil x

Oops, just noticed your post pinktwink. Thank you for your post too. I'm not sure if they are a bit old for pass the parcel though and I don't want to do anything to embarrass her and leave her humiliated at school as a result but I guess that I could test the water by saying that her younger brother and sister were hoping for a game and see if they are up for it.

I have got little football keyrings for the boys and that's as far as I got lol but stickers and trading cards sound great. We do have a bouncy castle and had thought of that too if the weather holds up but as I say, we're having a half and half Singstar/ Disco party with chocolate fountain and non-alcoholic cocktails but i'm looking for any other ideas to give the kids a really good time. Thanks for your help too x
have a singing competetion try a themed party where they dress up in a certain theme with prize for the best the etc treasure hunts or try checking the web for childrens party games. Could have sporting games if weathe good
What about a dancing competition? Although you will be amazed at how quickly the time will fly, oh yeah forgot to say, you get the match attax cards from the newsagents, trust me they are all mad about them! smelly pens (chocolate/peach/apple etc) All kids like them too they will all be scribbling on there hands and sniffing lol! Sounds like a great party, im sure they will love it!
Just thought of summink else for the loot bags...scooby doos, you know where they make keyrings out of rubber coloured string things...sorry im useless at trying to explain things! lol x
Lynx body spray & hair gel lol...my 11yr old goes through it like anything.
try truth or dare putting options in a balloon before blowing them up, A sleep oveer, post mini olympics good luck
zeebees for boys - I think Tesco was doing them on buy one get one free, or it may have been woolies. Sainsburys were also doing mini tins of magnetix in their sale for about 1.50. As for games, if it is nice outdoors, a game of rounders or get a pinyata (filled with sweets etc) for them to bash at - keeps them amused for ages. Pass the balloon or mummies - where they have to wrap up people with toliet roll is good fun but not too babyish.
A game my older kids enjoyed on holiday- Sit in a circle Pass around a sparkly hat each child has to put it on their head, when the music stops the child wearing the hat is out. They did it to the Benny Hill theme tune it was great fun!
how about turning it into a fancy dress to come dressed as their fav pop star and have a bit of an x factor competion who does the best impersonation of the person they have come dresses as
