Fizzy water is usually carbonated, so is actually slightly acidic, I beleieve. Maybe not good for your teeth??

True - and probably better for you than still tap water, with its added chlorine and flouride. Yeuck.

Don't understand Icey, I thought fluoride is good for teeth?

Hi hun - you still up?!! I love these debates - so I'll try and make it concise, otherwise I could be here for hours!!! Basically, we've all been led to think that flouride is a good thing, but rising levels of it are directly connected to the disruption of enzymes necessary for cell repair. It's potentially toxic, because it acts as a soft water tranquilizer, and effects the thyroid and heart functions - also causing mouth, stomach & kidnet cancer - at the least! People just accept the blurge about it being "good for you", but it's just a slow poison. I mostly use bottled water from the source, although our tap water isn't tampered with - yet.

Anyway hun, I'm away now. Just had a break - and a cuppa - and everyone sems to've faded off, so I'll do the same. Night to you - xx

Thanks Ice. I use boiled water also.
I must thoroughly rinse, and extra rinse my mouth after brushing my teeth. Now who said this site is crap? Lots of helpful people with an abundance of valuable information.
