Can you use filter coffe in a cafetiere?

It really depends on the mesh on the plunger, if you buying the coffee from a reputable supplier they would probably give better advice... btw give the flavoured coffee a try, they do allsorts of flavours from vanilla or mint or mixed christmas spices (as christmas time of course), there are loads of different flavours available ; they give the coffee a bit of a twist, very nice indeed.

I use filter coffee in a cafetiere. I use Douwe Egberts and I find it fine. Sometime it will state on the pack what it is suitable to be used in.
