Coffee Maker???

I am looking to buy a coffee maker as a present for somebody for Chrsitmas. I want something that will cost less than 100 and is capable of making filter coffee/americano and cappucinos (possibly expresso too). Must be able to use filter coffee - not interested in anything that takes pods or cartridges. Anybody recommend a good product and where I can purchase? Not being a coffee drinker myself it's difficult to decide what to go for.
