government funding

hi does anyone know the new law re nursery funding for 2yr olds.do you need to be on income support to receive it?

where i am, in lancs, they are piloting the scheme for 2 year olds.
i believe it is only for people who live in deprived areas at the moment.
If you have a sure start centre near you, they would probably know.
Maybe worth contacting your local Council
