c section

ok so on sunday my scar came open at the side a little and yellow stuff came out, i went to the doc and she told me she doesnt inderstand why my scar is so low ( on the pubic bone) and said i will always have trouble with it. has anyone eles had a section so low? is it very sore? and do u no why its so low? carliex (Wed 21:08 01/Jul/09)

lollyone		(Thu 11:07 02/Jul/09) Hi carliex That sounds nasty. Mine is really low too, just below my hairline(!) Is yours lower than that? Its never been sore but it, and the surrounding area, is completely numb. It itches sometimes and I can't scratch it cos I can't feel it.
zzxxee		(Thu 14:23 02/Jul/09) mine sits just along the pubic hairline that doesnt sound very good a doctor saying you will always have trouble with it if it is uncomfortable absolutley no way should you have to put up with discomfort and yellow puss seeping from it i would get a second opinion

Brinjal		(Sat 15:39 04/Jul/09) Mine is also very low. Had 3 c sections. 20 years later the area is still numb and have developed a bit of an apron so am now contemplating tummy tuck.
tamborine		(Sat 15:47 04/Jul/09) You do have an infection if puss is seeping. The tissue needs cleansing with antiseptic. Keep swabbing with salted water for quicker heal. I had C 33y ago from below button down - bu88ered stomach muscles - lifting & gardening help firm muscles. Wish bikini cut was available in my time.
luckyforme71		(Sun 19:48 12/Jul/09) i had a c section almost 11yrs ago, mine is just above my hairline but looks like a fade white line. it sounds like you have infection. my friend had this just after her 4th section go back please
