My midwife sent me to get an ultrasound at 21 weeks I measured a week earlier so 20 weeks. She said that meant the due date is July 4th but they are Gunna keep it at June 28 because it's only a week difference. But I have been going to my obgyn for about a month or so and when he measures my belly the cm always align with my original weeks. By my belly I'm measuring at 39 cm and I'm 39 weeks and 2 days.( By my original dates)leaving my due date to be June 28th again So I was wondering which one is more accurate or what u guys would think

to answer the question ( which ISN'T - who's the Daddy ?) ultrasound is much more accurate than an OBGYN measuring ( or else they wouldnt have started ultrasound in the seventies would they ? sorry too much detail there). a week is irrelevant in the scheme of things ( your health or the baby's health) whether or not it helps you wonder who the daddy really is - the...

I think no one needs to be giving you pure guesswork. It'd only encourage you.
You were given decent advice in your earlier thread.
I think the only way to know is a DNA test....
Neither is more accurate. The due date, as I'm sure you know, is measured from the date of your last period, not the date you conceived. The 40 week estimation is just that. One week either way makes little difference

a week is irrelevant in the scheme of things ( your health or the baby's health)

whether or not it helps you wonder who the daddy really is - the main reason you are having antenatal care is for your health and wellbeing and the child's

I don't want to know the DNA for me not them i want to know for her I don't want her getting to.kno a man that isn't part of her. What's clear as day is u don't want it to be the September guy . Those are ur personal problems not mine
er what was the question ?

anyway ultrasound is more accurate than healing hands of an OBGYN

honestly - you're almost there !

Even ultrasound can get dating wrong.
Naughty umm - you have been reading my posts before answering ! [ - er a few days ago you said you didnt]

more accurate .... 2 dated a month apart before 20 weeks very accurate ( apparently)

I remarked to my dear mozzair ( now decd - bless her etc): "You were delivering babies in 1935 with a stethoscope and not much else - how did you manage it ?"
and she replied 'we did it'
[ qualified before the first antibiotic - prontosil rubrum]
I said rarely read them.
Peter, Prontosil Rubrum has never been regarded as the first antibiotic. Penicillin remains the one and only contender for that title. Prontosil Rubrum can be considered to be the first effective mammalian antibacterial but an antibacterial is not an antibiotic. The terms are not interchangeable.
