Absolutely love this house - I can't believe how different things are living here. The kids are even more chilled and happy. They're still in the garden now, the three youngest are in the pool (a proper deep one) and the eldest are actually of their games consoles and are on the trampoline. Earlier today we were treated to a fab airshow (well, not really - most of the aircraft were just leaving the camp) - had a spitfire, the blue thunder (but we see that numerous times everyday), a super fast helicopter, a chinook that was so low we could see the soldiers waving from the back and an osprey that circled round and and did some showing off :)

I'm so glad things have worked out well for you sher.

Sherra you say the three youngest, then the eldest. Now I make that at least 5. :)) I am the eldest of 13, take good care of the oldest one. Enjoy your new home.

Now that you no longer live in a shoe, perhaps you'll need to change your avatar?

Thanks all, didn't realise how 'down' the other house made me feel. We've moved right to the edge of the army camp so the helicopters were really close and low (and they were showing off), felt sorry for the everyday blue helicopter. Togo, there are five of them but the eldest is 'my boy'. On the downside, the kids keep walking grass through the the house but it's not a biggie.
Sher, is hubby happy too ?

Yes Anne, the kids are happy so he is happy :)
Don't know where you are but were they coming back from the Trooping, the aircraft? We had them fly over earlier in the week from a rehearsal I assume, very comfortable, sit on the sofa and watch through the window once the shock of the noise went! Glad you're happy, as long as grass is the only natural thing they tramp in!
Everything but a balcony, cant be bad....enjoy.

Zebo, I live outside Hereford by a certain army camp so we see lots of stuff. Think it might have been a local thing for the Queen's birthday maybe.
