I have tickets for a gig in London tomorrow. Has anyone had experience of coming home from Victoria to Crawley at approx 11 p.m. ? Are all the trains likely to be cancelled? National Rail website warns of severe disruption which makes me wary of travelling in case I can't get home

hard to say, they won't know till the strike starts how many staff will turn up. Could you take the Gatwick Express and get a taxi onward?

Thanks jno. According to the website, Gatwick Express is also affected by the strike. I'll check tomorrow afternoon and decide from there.

on the accompanying map, Crawley is "brown", ie reduced service - check the website before you travel to see what southern services are running; alternatively take a thameslink train from St Paul's, Blackfriars or London Bridge to Three Bridges, then "cab" it from there.

Thank you mushroom25. My train ran on time, and ironically I got home early as the train from Victoria was running 25 minutes late.
