Not only that, she's broke one of its *** feet. She broke one last year too, but Mr Boo Managed to put a permanent screw in it- think it's beyond repair now though :-(

Can't you shut the door to that room and keep the cat out when you're not there? That's what I did with my manic Christmas tree climbing [and now sadly departed] cat.

My big Labrador knocked our tree over so he could eat all the chocolate decorations and candy sticks. He scoffed the lot without a trace of a problem
Any way Christmas does not start until tomorrow. That is when the tree is supposed to go up.
As a child it was unheard of to put up the tree and decorations until Christmas morning after you got back from church.
