Sorry to hear about your loss Faye. Did he have a favourite flower?
What did he enjoy doing in life Faye? If fishing, go from there.
sorry to hear your sad news...as others have said what was his passion in life ?...
Sad news for you Faye - There are no rules, think of something that meant a lot to you both.
So sorry for your loss, Faye....

MrG died in March so we all took little posies of daffodils to the grave. We couldn't lay them on the grave as it wasn't filled in til we left so we scattered them on his coffin.

Were it this time of year I would do the same with rose petals.....x
Sad news there faye, my mother wants beetroot......
Faye...if you're thinking of something permanent it's best left until the headstone...if there's to be one...is in place.

Then there are some beautiful little memorials to put on or by a grave....special ones from grandchildren.

Or your own little vase for placing some flowers....xx
well believe it or not - my uncle wanted a tin of guinness poured over his coffin in the grave and that's what he got. Wasnt an alcoholic so I never this knew strange request.
Did he have a favourite poem or verse from the Bible?
What about planting some bulbs Faye? They would be bright and colourful and be there for him every the spring. You'd be best to wait until Sept or October which is the best time for planting daffodils, tulips, bluebells or the like.
My dad wanted Hops bless him:-)
