Just returned home from Egypt. On the plane coming home felt very sick for the whole 6 hour journey, but wasn't until I got home and was quite sick. Ever since then I keep getting, what I can only describe as stomach cramps, and last night was in some really bad pain for about 15 minutes, but not sick or anything else. Feel quite fragile this morning, any ideas?

Until sqad comes along it sounds to me like standard holiday tummy bug, have to say that nearly everyone I know who's been on hols to Egypt get a gippy tummy at some point. Hope you feel better soon, that must have been a nightmare flight.
Probably something you ate. You can`t really do anything about it now but if you start being sick again or develop diarrhoea and lose fluid then take some rehydration salts (Dioralyte or chemist own brand)
I agree totally with the two above eminent contributors to health and Fitness.

You do not mention diarrhea, so i will presume that your bowels are normal.

Monitor the situation.
sounds like food poisoning, doesn't it? Best let your body get rid of whatever it is; if you get dehydrated do as 237SJ suggests.

Thanks all.No diarrhea Sqad, and feel ok between bouts of pain. Been to Egypt several times and been ok, am very careful. It was the most awful flight I have ever had, but the stewardesses were very good. Had food poisoning some years ago and yes it does feel a bit the same, but not sure.
