which bank are you with? For exMPLE, LLOYDS TSB HAVE A CHILD SAVER ACCOUNT THAT IS CONTROLLED BY THE PERSON WHO SETS IT UP TILL THE CHILD IS 16. You need to be with lloyds anyway, and have their birth certificate. i can't see anywhere where it says a parent must do it http://
