Is DLA counted as income when claiming Working Tax Credits.
That is if one is working,in this case,part-time and his partner receives DLA ,
(not the Highest Rate Care component or Higher Rate attendance Allowance.) DLA is not means tested but is still an imcome.
Does anyone know anything about how it all works.

DLA is not treated as income for Tax Credits - it is ignored
DLA is to pay for additional costs of a disability and is not means tested nor added into incomes for WTC purposes.
