stain removal

I have a small marble tablet which has a mark made by a price ticket.....

which is the best way to remove it ? I remember reading that marble is porous and that a strong cleaning agent could damage it.

any advice will be gratefully received.

nail polish remover ??
more sticky stuff! Put a piece of sellotape over it and rub down over it then pull it off.
