Hi there. I'm 36 weeks pregnant and baby is transverse

At my last check baby was transverse I think it has been for a while now.
This is baby number 4.
Does this mean I'm likely to need a section or will they wait until I go into labour in the hope it gets into position?
Anyone have and experience or ideas?

You will NOT be allowed to go onto labour with a transverse lie of your baby.

An attempt will be made to turn it before the onset of labour and if this is unsuccesful than you will have an elective C-Section.

My daughter's baby was transverse at the same stage as you and she was advised to spend as much time as she could on her hands and knees and to sit on kitchen chairs with her front facing the back of the chair and to lean forward at the waist, it seemed to work as her baby turned and she had a normal delivery.
