Swallowed a Coin

My 7 year old daughter has been unwell this week. Complaining of tummy ache, little energy, not much appetite. Took her to the doctors and he said the glands in her stomach could be swollen! She has complained of tummy ache on and off for ages. It just dawned on me yesterday that she swallowed a 5p about 6 months ago. I didn't actually see it come out of the other end, although she said she thought she saw it. Do you think it could be stuck somewhere and this is what is causing the pain? What else could be giving her recurring tummy ache (it's not constipation).

I'd see a doctor, X ray, that's the only way you'll find out for sure.

Just don't be fobbed off with "there's no change yet...."

you need to tell the doc about that ..my son done the same with a 5 p i took him to hospital at the time they said it would just come out on its own ...never had a problem ...nurse told him to use a money box next time ....hope she is better soon x
