Started to respond to Nectar`s invitation to participate in their customer surveys. Big mistake - they asked many very intrusive questions and I do hope no-one will be fooled into supplying this sort of personal information to them. The aggressive insolence of these people is truly staggering.

But you filled in the survey by choice, no one forced you to do it.

And now you are complaining.
VHG....Chris said he "started" to participate....how would he know what the questions would be like otherwise? Obviously, once he saw the intrusive nature of them, he did not continue.

I take your point, VHG, but I most certainly did NOT fill in the survey. I would have been interested in contributing to Nectar`s reviews but their insolent and intrusive qustioning means that I cannot do so. I think the people running Nectar should be well and truly kicked up the backside for attempting to obtain such private information.
What kind of questions did they ask you, Chris?

Thanks, Bathsheba - you have got my point exactly. I am concerned that decent and would-be helpful people may in all innocence provide lots of personal information that the likes of Nectar have no business asking for.

I can only partially answer your question, cloverjo, but two questions stick in my mind. One was about a range of health conditions and another was about family income.
but no one put the thumbscrews on you...if you get to a part of the survey you don't want to answer, then you either skip that bit or close the survey....no need to get all hot and bothered.
U think it's best to avoid these surveys. First of all the survey may not actaully be an official Nectar one and usually there will be lots of subsequent spam in your emails and spam texts/calls on your phone if you give a mobile number
I think not U think, sorry
