Sky broadband

Does anyone know why logging into sky broadband can take so long to connect? Sometimes more than an hour retrying!! Sky helpdesk are next to useless. And don't get me started on sky TV reception!!

ive never used it, always been with ntl, now virgin media,
i was once in the process of changing to BT, even had the date of change over arranged, when suddenly i got a call from virgin media's customer retention department, and they made me an offer that i just could not refuse, that was over two years ago, and i am still on the same contract today,
