Yeah.... that got your attention ! If things carry on in this childish way, I suspect that this part of the site will be closed down. Now, how about some decent questions and grown up behaviour. Zapping this Q will simply prove to me that CB doesn't really deserve the space it's got here.

Don't worry Jugglering, i worked out how it was done and have informed the ED and techie team.
They should now (I.E. Monday) stop the ability to abuse the registration procedure and remove the ability to get a thread to post a null value.

if you travel over this site you will see names that have never been in chatterbank or even B&S before CB was re introduced, so my point is........ just carry on regardless and if something annoys you then just read something else or go to a different section........ if we all do that then the fun for those who like to stir things up will just get bored and either settle down or move on.
this may i say will never happen because we all love an argument dont we.

Too right Jugglering. I enjoy the banter and occasional arguments but this zapping thing is ridiculous. Folks should have respect and a bit more tolerance (not for the rudeness or slogging off, you know what I mean.) Everyone will not have the same ideas, but this is what makes us individually unique.

Actually I get p****d off with someone deciding what posts should or shouldn't stay. I am quite capable of making my own decisions without this 'censorship'.
Also - why is it that women are always accused of being bitchy but it's the men on here who are continually bitching at each other?

I am also p****ed of with people doing it! and have figured out how it's done, thought it was HTML to start with, then maybe SQL, but nope....
It's a silly loophole that should be easy to plug, quite why the site is allowing javascript to be run from within the answer box is beyond me
as for who is doing it... well it's the whiffy (note without the E) not the proper whiffey (with an E) though of course who that really is could be anyones guess!!

It's more than one user name doing it I think Chuck, whether it's more than one person is another matter.
I hope you're right Dabees but I emailed the technical team a few days a go and all they did was put the threads back but they didn't do anything about the problem.
I think it's juvenile, pathetic and frankly sad that pleasure is taken out of doing this. No, I'm not happy for it to continue but I wouldn't be happy for CB to go either as this dross would spread to other topics. Can you imagine an interesting debate in R&S or News just being pulled because some numpty(s) feels like it?
