im thinking about have a small tattoo on my wrist a small flower or some thing ...do they really hurt ?

I have a tiny little heart on my hip. It did hurt but the pain doesn't last. A friend of mine had a simple star on her wrist. Don't know if it was painful but it really looked good. If i wasn't such a wimp, i would have had the same thing myself.

they hurt like no other pain, so i was told. don't do it.

Why your wrist? I don't like any tattoos there, I find it tacky.....It's too "on show".

Wouldnt know about childbirth but i highly doubt it. Mine just felt like someone sticking a pin in my hip and scratching away (although i suppose thats exactly what it is - doh!). It didnt hurt that much, no tears no screaming. Can definatly say standing on an upturned plug in bare feet is much more painful.

Sleepy, as far as I know, if they hurt like childbirth, I'll have a baby tomorrrow! Well....In 9 months anyway.....lol
They DO hurt. I crushed my then bf's hand to a pulp when I had mine done, but I heard that it's way worse when it's on a bony area (spine, foot..wrist?).

Pain-wise...Imagine someone scratching a fresh sunburn with the tip of a paper clip. Closest I can describe it! lol

I have a wrist tattoo -was a dawdle.Have one between my thumb and forefinger as well -no probs.
Think it would be different if it was under your wrist -that delicate bit -dont think I would have the corage for that but I could always self medicate lol
