My husband....

Who's 6 foot 2, has just run out the room, shrieking like a girl, yelling "hurry up, get it!" about a wasp buzzing round the livingroom.

Anyone else's husband/partner equally as wussy about all things that fly or crawl?

Incidently, 5 foot 1 me dealt with it (its now a mushed mess in my bin)

My best mate, who is a 6ft rock-climber, was once sitting on the couch at mine, watching a scary movie. Right behind him on the wall, I have hung a dream-catcher, that's made of black beads and feathers. During a particularly slow, scary part, one of the feathers flew of the wall onto his shoulder. I have never seen a grown man jump that far off his seat, whilst shouting "Aaaaaaaaargh!". It took him by surprise, he said afterwards, trying to regain his composure!

Ha!

yup - my 6'4'' giant is scared of all things flappy, crawly and of the insect variety. i - at 5'2'' am chief insect squisher in the household and even have to get rid of all the stuff that the cats bring in as well (dead or alive!!!). there must be something about great big men (who marry small ladies) being absolute wussies!

My eldest son is a 6'5" rugby player who once pulled a savage dog off someone without batting an eyelid, but if a moth goes anywhere near him he turns into a total wimp and mummy has to come to the rescue.

We rescued a mouse last week from my cat and my daughter put it in a shoe box. Mr kola was having a lie down in bed. She took it to show him and he screamed and hid under the duvet telling her to get it away from him.
