why the fuss about supporting a team just because it is local??surely you support them because they are good and you get your moneys worth from them.just because you live next door to someone does that make them your best friend ??

I support Arsenal but I wouldn't dream of living anywhere near it.

In fact I live about 120 miles away.

In Spring 1995 my dad was just 49 years old and dying, so I spent a great deal of it sitting at his bedside either at home, in hospital or in the hospice. Have no idea what else was going on. Nothing else mattered. We lost him on 27th April.

cant see the point, its not like you can go to the matches if you live miles away, the kid across the road from me supports whatever team wins the premiership, he goes around calling every other team a loser.

its a bit crappy

its a costly game to travel 120 miles (each way) every other weekend, just to see the home games.

do you have a season ticket?

I was coming up to doing my GCSE's.

My local footie team would be Shrewsbury Town where I come from, bless em.

Moved around too much to follow local teams though now live about 5 mins from Old Trafford so spose my current local team is Utd.
