Whats the Internet done for you?

Has it made any any changes to your life since you went on the Internet?

Met any people, friendship, romance?
Bought something, bargain or waste of money?
Been a victim of a credit card, bank scam?
Found a relative, friend you had not seen for years?
Taught me things about the world I would never have known.

I have had experience of all the above.

Met a lovely women.
Bought a flat screen TV, saving ££££££££££££.
Had 2 false payments of £140 taken from 2 credit cards.
My brother found me, who I had not seen for 25 years.
Found information, that would have taken hours or days to find out..

Met loads of people
bought loads of stuff without ever leaving home
Never been scammed
Haven't found anyone but occassionally surf friends reunited, how sad!
Have learnt loads of stuff and set up a webshop with my hubby and now sell dog equipment worldwide.
Also makes studying a lot easier as no academic library nearby.
A gret invention.

I found my Mum's 2 half-sisters........a real life-changing event !
I've bought several good things from e-bay.
It kept me in contact with my son when he was half-way around the world...
Never been scammed, thank God.
I've learnt so many things that I wouldn't have had access to otherwise.
I've met and 'talked' with people from places and all walks of life I could never had imagined..............not always cordially, admittedly, but I have always taken something away from these conversations.
I'm not sure what I would do without it now !!!

I got a job working for three years with the original owners of this site - which introduced me to ... this site.

I have obtained freelance writing work through the Net, increased my education on a daily basis, and thus far avoided any 'friends' sites whatsoever.

i have been...
able to find friends from years ago
made a few new friends across various networking tools
played to many games
met some interesting women (who mostly turned out to be crazy but then aren’t we all)
learned how to do many things other people refused to teach me
never lost any money (yet touch wood)
bought a load of stuff on ebay and various other sites
developed a sever internet addiction where i don’t seem to be able to go more than 12 hours without a dose... :os

I've met some of my very bestest friends.
Bought loads of things, but great to look for a bargain!
Had a few transactions taken from my card for ITunes (never used them myself).
Found a secret relative, or rather she found me (can't stay in touch, though).

Oh, and AB, obviously... :)
