Believe it or not, it is something to do with the full moon!!.

They say that easter is the first sunday after a full moon that happens from march 22nd to april 25th

Mad isn't it, sounds more like witchcraft than christianity!

To determine the date of Easter:

Start from March 21st. Look for the date of the next full moon. (If there's actually a full moon on the 21st, as there was this year, that counts). Easter Day is the next Sunday.

Different countries used to use different dates to put the clocks forward and back. That could cause problems with, say, ferry timetables. For example, France would be one hour ahead of the UK for most of the year but there could be a week or two where we were on the same time or where France was 2 hours ahead. Such problems led to international agreements that the clocks go forward on the last Sunday in March and back on the last Sunday in October.

It's actually the first weekend after the first full moon after the equinox, the date of which occasionally changes depending on where we are with leap years and stuff but it is generally on or around the 21st of March.

Exactly tonyted there are no exact dates in the bible they are just made up. Even Christmas day is made up from folklore. If the bible is such an exaple of the true story of Jesus why are there no true dates of the most important happenings like his birth or death.
