From Reuters, or from here ... http://dividendinvestor.com/tracker.php

On AnswerBank, only ex dividend trading is allowed.

If you try to type in the opposite, I think it gets filtered out.

Ex Dividend / Final Dividend and Dividend payment dates

What qualifies shares on a dividend payment ie do your have to complete purchase prior to the ex-div date and sell after the Final Div date or the payment date. Am I correct?

Am I correct in thinking that once a share goes ex-dividend - after two days the register shuts and the person that is registed gets the dividend? Even if sold after that date... Thanks in advance.
