How bigger pension could a firefighter or policeman expect to receive after 40 years service at a mid rank level? How much would be given a year?

I haven't looked yet but I though polic/fire fighters got ull pension well before 40 years service.
For a rough guide if you put 30000 in for final salary and anything upwards of 30 years service you get a pension of 20000 pa.
This will be lower if you commute any and take a tax free lump sum. You can get more for ill health retirement.
