Brittania Building Society

I have asked before about which banks/building societies are within the same group and i do have a good link. But i cant seem to find Brittania Building Socity mentioned anywhere. Can someone tell me please, whether that is totally independant or grouped with which others? many thanks.

Just say you need to be confident all your money is guaranteed under the FSA compensation scheme, and to that end you need to know if Britannia is part of any other banks or building societies.
