joint savings account

Me and my partner would like to open a joint savings account. Is it possible to do when you live at different addresses. Also, would he go on my credit file as an 'associate'?

Thanks

If you have a joint account, he will be an associate on your credit files.

You do not need to live at the same address to have a joint account
