Can anyone tell me where i stand with the problem i have with my car insurance? I am a fully comprehensive business policy holder for my car. The car is less than 10 years old, it was regist'ered in 1997. Yesterday i put too much oil in my car and pulled over when i noticed smoke bellowing out from the exaust pipe. i was towed back to a garage approved by the insurance company, they assessed my car after hours of phone calls to the insurance company and the garage. the garage informed the insurance company the results of the repair and the insurance company informed me they are not willing to pay out for the repair and they certified my car as 'written off '. I am a MOBILE DOG GROOMER and have been one for ten years and my car is my livelihood. Churchill insurance have insured my car for about a year which costs me 600 a year and was told i was entitled to a courtesey car if it needed any repairs when i took up the policy and when i eventually needed one yesterday after the incident, they said i would only get one if the repairs were carried out. Which they refused to do. I am now stranded and unable to work. Has anyone been through the same experience and can advise me on what i should do? Sorry to ramble on but this is my first time on AnswerBank. Thank you for your time reading this. Tina
