How much does it actually cost the royal mint to manufacture the following coins:

1p, 2p, 5p, 20p, 50p 1

in terms of material, machinery, plant, people, admin etc etc it surely is more than the value of the coins themselves?

I'm interested now in who the competitors are: surely that would be illegal!!!!!!
The competitors are mints in other countries, and private mints, who compete with the Royal Mint to make coins for countries that don't have mints.
