Sometimes the ability of folk to interpret the question, amazes me.

So, if you don't hire a removals company you are able to shift it all yourself ? As I see it you either have a little to move so need not spend the money or you have more than you can cope with and so have to hire someone. Limited choice there.

That's what I meant, OG - I've moved myself in the past, it's knackering but it can be done. If you have to get someone to do, take references or use a reputable company.

Yeah obviously it's safe. As we don't have experience in moving and relocating but the packers and movers had much experience. But it is better to ensure that the moving company provide you guarantee for your things.
