I have Nat West business accounts. Balances appear to be updated now and cash banked by staff this morning is showing up in the accounts.
But I still cannot make any payments out or transfer any money from any account and I guess that I will not be able to do this now until possibly Monday given that they are still trying to catch up from Wednesday.
I can't believe that employees of the scaffolding business (as stated in the bbc news reports) are refusing to work until their money shows up in their bank statements! It is not the poor employers fault!
We paid our staff at the beginning of the week thank god, I would not like them to be in a position where they could not access their wages.
