Hi Goofy as far as I can tell Royal Mail intend increasing prices from 2nd April but are awaiting the go-ahead from Ofcom. They expect to get Ofcom's decision towards the end of March.
whhhoooo thanks!

There proposed increases are astronomical.
I bought 12 second class today from W H Smith - cost £4.10 (normal cost is 12 x 36p = £4.32)
Superdrug is giving money off books of stamps, I bought two books of 12 last week.
See our current prices, valid until 1 April 2012

Our contract prices will change from Monday 2 April 2012 (subject to our regulator’s final decision).
I work in a Post Office and whilst I haven't had any official news yet I know that we will get a months notice of any price changes, which we haven't had yet. Another local Post Office told me that they had asked and were told that the prices would be changing on 30th April.
