Sunday evening; BBC 1, 9pm - Jonathan Strange and Mr Norrell (last episode). BBC 2, 9.15pm - Odyssey (first episode of a new series which looks promising). ITV, 9 pm - Black Work (episode 2). Channel 4, 9 pm - Humans (episode 3). Monday evening; ALL channels, 9pm - not much at all! Why do the programme planners assume that we ALL possess the ability to either record our programmes or catch up with them? I have a set monthly allowance on my dongle and, as i have found to my cost, playing catch-up with missed programmes takes me well over the limit, incurring extra monthly payments. Surely it would make sense, in terms of viewing figures, for these channels to screen these dramas n separate evenings.

For ITV & CH4 you could use channels 33 & 13 respectively - they're the "+ 1 hour" channels, so 9pm progs are shown at 10pm.

The only difference is that they're not available in HD.
Apart from watching ITV and Ch4 on "+1", a decent listings magazine (mine's Radio Times) will show when a programme is repeated....Odyssey is repeated Monday at 23.20 and Humans is repeated Monday 23.05 on 4seven.

Lie-in-King; I make regular use of the +1 channels and if i follow your suggestion, i still can't watch all 4 progs:-(

gingejbee; I did look through my tv mag earlier , just a cursory glance, and i failed to spot that those 2 were repeated, though as they are repeated at roughly the same time, i still have a problem. I don't watch THAT much tv but i do like my 9pm dramas and i'm sure the programme planners do this just to wind us up. There are at least 2 nights this week when there are just reality progs and documentaries on at around pm so why they couldn't have aired the drama on different nights......................?

My friend has recording facilities and between us we will come up with a solution whereby i get to watch all 4 but it's a lot of faffing about.
Black Work is repeated on Saturday evening if that's any help.
Apologies Ken, I misread your OP & thought you were able to record some progs
You could buy a dual or triple tuner pvr. That would solve a lot of your problem.

Problem solved - and, hc4361, without spending around £100!! Watched final episode of Strange and Norrell on Beeb 1, Black Work on ITV +1 and have just caught up with episodes 2 & 3 of humans at a friend's house (recorded). Will watch Odyssey tonight when it is repeated at 2320. Simples:-)
