bancrupt and family quesstion

Hi. I am going Bankrupt as I have no choice (I have done a dmp and I can't even pay that, and my credit cards, I am ill a and have not worked in 16 months). I have to show the court 3 months of bank statements which I have got but my parents sent me over £200 a few weeks ago to help me. Will they have t be informed when the court see my bank statement as really I don't want them to know. Many thanks in advance for your answers.

Were your credit cards not included in the DMP? Who did you hae the DMP with?

the dmp didn't inc my cc as this was after the dmp started with Churchwood. I can't even pay churchwood as I am off sick and have no job. My main worry is my parents finding out about the bancruptcy.

Are you paying a fee to Churchwood plus your payment? Please contact the CCCS 0800 138 1111, they are totally free and will help you decide what is best for you. I have been on a DMP with them for some years now and still have a way to go but I am paying off my debts. They will work out an affordable plan for you but still leave you with enough to live on. You must tell them all your debts so they can work out how much you can afford to pay. They can also advise you if bankruptcy is an option. It will cost you quite a lot in fees to go bankrupt. I hope you find a solution.
