Mind Design Group - inventions
I have recently submitted an initial idea, (invention) to this company and I wondered if there was anyone who had also done this. And if so had they had any success and were they pleased with the companys performance? Many thanks

Be very careful, if they dont ask you to pay, great. if they do then dont touch them, these companies (the legit. ones) will take your invention, evaluate it and advise you, this normally takes up to 3 months, any company can say they have looked at your idea and they think its great so pay us £100's and we will market it for you. again, be very careful, its also a good idea to send a copy of your entire idea to yourself in one of the sealed plastic envilopes you get from the post office and dont open it. that way it gets processed signed for and proves your idea was yours on the day you sent it. yes, some of these companies steal ideas too! like i said earlier, just be careful. hope that helps

I have also submitted an idea, and have speaking to a guy called Rick Johnson who has been very helpful to be honest. I did have to pay £90 for the inital report, and have received the report which is both comprehensive and helpful. I am now at the stage where I am deciding whetehr to sell the idea to someone or whether to pursue this with DMG in some capacity, royalties etc. Has anyone been further than this yet with Design Mind Group?

these guys are legit... they're one of the so called "good guys" out there. they got my idea in front of the right people. Don't expect to be a millionaire though, unless your idea becomes a household name, annual royalty payments for most small inventors average under 50k/yr. to really make it big you have to keep inventing to get the winners out there, it's a numbers game at the end of the day.
