BUYING A HOLIDAY PROPERTY or ski challet

We are thinking about buying a villa to rent out or a ski challet. Does anyone have any experience of doing this? Any tips?

Don't have it managed by anybody else but yourself. We bought a villa which is in a hotel complex and it's the worse thing we ever did. It is badly run and costing more than we're gaining. The whole complex is up for sale and still no luck. Good luck!
