Oops..what next??

Yesterday i visited a male friend who i havn't seen for a while...but fancied him like hell for years and years. We had spoken to each other for the last couple of days and were both flirting outrageously. Anyway, when i went round we had a kiss and well one thing led to another *cough*..all very nice.

As i was leaving we made plans to text each other later that day, which we did and both said that we had really enjoyed what happened earlier in the day. But earlier as i was leaving the house he had made this comment when i said i was suprised what happened ."i was just truing to see how far you would go"..we were both nervous so it may have just been a bad choice of comment?

Tomorrow he goes on holiday for a fortnight. I really want to know what happens from here..Any suggestions or constructive opinions?

I think the simplest thing to do is let him go off and enjoy his holiday for two weeks, then when he gets back text/ring him saying that you wanna meet up for a drink/meal/date whatever and see how things go from there.

Good luck whatever happens : )

Thanks for the replies...i was thinking that his break would give him an opportunity to think about what happened.?

....i do think his comment may have been a case of opening his mouth before brain engaged.

If he said he really enjoyed it then i guess he's being genuine???

Ive since spoken to him via txt before he went away and he said "see you when i get back" when i asked if he wanted to his reply was "sure"...does it sound like hes not that enthusiastic or am i reading too much into it??? Men are so difficult to work out.:)

They're not, hun. Just don't be too eager. i find that even in this day and age, guys still like the chase. Wait until he comes back, and see if he contacts you. Best of luck.

If men only knew what they put us through sometimes...it is impossible to 'read' them....and when communication is via text or email-even worse!!!

hope it works out for you...let us know.

You haven't actually made a mess of anything, if you both enjoyed the experience, but personally, I think you need to back off now, and see if he gets in touch with YOU. That way, you'll know he's in it for more than a quick fling. x

Enjoy the experience for what it was. Maybe it will develop maybe it won't. Let things take their natural course.

Agree. Don't contact him again - wait for his next move. If he doesn't get in touch then you know the score. If that happens, accept the good time for what it was and move on. It won't feel that easy but it's the only way.
