Where can I find a relationship partner
I live in Spain where most English guys are either married or moved over with the girlfriend, I am with 4 different dateing sites and thinking of moving back to the uk in search of love as law of averages mean I will not meat anyone over here. Any advice??????

It depends what you want from life I suppose.
Personally, I would rather be single and living the dream in Spain than come back over here purely in the hope of finding a relationship.
What makes you think you will find anyone if you do come back? If you do, will you be settling for anyone rather than no-one? Will you forever be wondering, 'Why did I come back and why didn't I stay in Spain?'
Did you go over there as a single person or did you go as part of a couple that are no longer together? How old are you?

Must admit, I dont really want to come back. I just think the law of averages would be working with me in the UK. The chances of meeting a single english guy over here isnt zero but there would be more chances in the uk. I was single when i moved over here but then a friend came to visit and we got together. For the last 3 and half years he has been saying ' yeah babe, ill move to spain' - what a liar!!! I have now realised that he never intended to move over. This has now left me realising what I am missing - a guy to share my spanish experience with. Im 39+1 ( I refuse to be four zero!!!)

lol. Thanks guys. Your comments have at least bought a smile to my face. Yes it probably is a bit warmer over here and I know I would prefer to stay and I am just panicing a bit I guess - you know 39+1 and all that!! Soz Wonkon, Im not rich and in a relationship i would prefer the same bed lol

I reckon us single girlies should hop on a flight to Spain. we can all crash at SpiritLady's place and let's go see where are the decent Spanish men are.
there surely are none over here.. I should know, I've probably met all of them! well, those that Barmaid has yet to meet, and vice-versa :o)

You are the same age as me then. (I was 40 last week, I'm counting backwards from now on, lol)
I have a friend who did move abroad with her fella last year, things went sour and now she can't wait (but can't afford) to come back home.
I'm single, I'm not panicking. I like living on my own, doing what I want and pleasing nobody but myself. Yes, a man to love and who loves me would be nice but it if doesn't happen, I won't beat myself up about it.
I am a firm believer that there is someone out there for everybody. It's just a shame that my 'somebody' appears to live in Outer Mongolia!!!

I think between me, you and Lakitu Sara, we've probably met all of them and established that none of them are sane enough/clean enough/funny enough/sane enough/sexy enough/single enough/sane enough/straight enough/stable enough/sane enough for us.
Are we just too picky?

I cant deny that there are some really hot spanish guys but im not sure i want the 'real' spanish way of life. im quite happy with my spanglish way of life lol Am I now puting blocks in the way by not wanting a spanish guy?

They can't be any worse than some english guys!!!!!
And you may not want a spanish way of life, but whats to say you couldn't meet a spanish chap (or any nationality for that matter) who is prepared to compromise on the way of life?

don't give yourself such a hard time. if you met Mr Spanish Guy who was Mr Right, you'd be happy with that way of life. just chill and don't write someone off if they might be worth a shot. keep an open mind.. but don't come back here just for the men, they're a bl00dy nightmare!
