I am silly wanting Marriage??
I have had a difficult time when it comes to relationships, my marriage broke down 16 years ago, i vowed i wouldnt never marry again, and before u lot start i have been out on a few dates,but seeing someone over 2 years we have had issues, but i am sure that if i wanted to marry again, he would be the one lol!!!

Hey puddicat,
I dont think you're silly.
We are all entitled to our own opinions and you know more about your relationship than anyone else.
I think a lot of women want the security of marriage - it's something that I was bought up to believe was what you did.
Sadly didn't work out for me and I don't think I will ever do it again, but hey you never know what (or who) is around the corner.

Never having having been married I can say this: I see the day to day struggles my married friends have. They do EVERYTHING. Work, house, kids and always must beg for help. Why does she have to call and remind him to pick up his child from dance class every week? Who reminds her? I hate when women say, Oh Bob is good around the house, he'll run the vacuum. Do you think Bob is at work telling his firends your a good wife because you do the dishes and wash his dirty drawers?
That being said, I also would like the security of having another income, knowing I always have a date for a party and i think I would have been a good mom given the chance. Sex once in a while would be nice too. :) LOL
Do what feels right for you.

Thanks for your kind words,as eng each says, women are just expected to remember to do things without any expectation of praise, but when a man washes the dishes, or cleans, you never hear the last of it lol,i think i care about this guy because he has a strong character,makes me laugh,generous,hardworking,and he stand up to me, as i can be quite strongwilled at times lol!!!!

Never say never again. I married my 4th husband this year at the age of 71 and I`ve never been happier. Of course, he was rather unwilling at first as my other husbands had all died on me, but in the end he knew he had to! Puddicat, don`t be afraid of making a mistake again. If it feels right- DO IT.
