Setting up a friend with a mate

I have been trying to set one of my best friends up with a guy from work for some time now and there never seems to be the right time. Either he is working or she has other commitments and it is driving me mad as I know that they are well suited.

He missed her birthday party recently due to being away at work but sent her a nice card and they have text and talked on the phone but how the dickens can I get the two of them together????

H the matchmaker LOL

Well, you have introduced them, I presume they have each others contact details. If they really want to meet each other, they will.

I think it's best not to get too involved. If you push them together and it all goes wrong, then they may blame you and you could end up falling out with one or both of them.

RAGGY ROMAN, I can assure you that is definitely not the case ;)

Hi Velvetee, yes I think that you are right and that I should leave them to it. Its just that she deserves a bit of happiness as her 'ex' is a right prIck. My workmate is everything that he isn't, good looking; kind, good sense of humour, great with kids and is reliable and decent.

I take your point re 'pushing' them together and so shall let nature take its course. (and buy a hat just in case ;))
