Help Please

Today, I was talking with my friends at school on the laptops (on e-mail). She suddenly asked me "Who is the fittest boy in this classroom" As a boy, I was shocked (I have a girlfriend) but I said someone. She asked on a scale of 1-10 how much I thought he was fit - I said 9 or 10. She then got the boy there to look at what I put and he laughed (probably in shock) She also asked if I fancied him - I said no.
You see, I have a slight crush on him (He not knowing) but I don't want a sexual relationship. Me & my girlfriend haven't actually done anything sexual (hugging is our furthest) . I'm worried that the boy and/or the girl I talked to will spread rumors that I fancy the boy even though I said to the girl I didn't - just that I thought he was fit! Help!

She was probably aware of the crush you have on him- why she did it in the first place.

If you don't want to progress further with your crush, your only course of action is to continue to laugh it off and hope that they forget it soon.

That's the other thing, I don't know my crush well - I would like to be friends with him but we don't know eachother well.
I suppose the girl wanted to wind me up - i doubt she was aware but you know, I did tell her I thought he was fit.
