It is the Body's response to being "poisoned" by alcohol. Some drinks give a worst Hangover than others, it also varies from person to person.

The main cause of a 'hang over' is dehydration and lack of deep sleep (REM). Head aches come from the lack of water in our system , causing pressure on the brain....best preventative action is a pint of water, drink of lucosade sport and an anti-inflammitry tablet before you go to bed..when you wake up in the morning apart from the stranger in the bed next to you, you would never of believed you've been out...

May you never experience one!!!

But I don't get a headache, that's gone as soon as I get up. My mouth feels disgusting all day and my breath can smell if I'm not careful, and I feel hungry all the time - and no amount of water before bed time or anything else has managed to change that.
